Why Community?

Being created in the image of a relational God, it is our belief that life is best lived in community. We are built for connection & thrive in relationship. Because of this we choose to follow Jesus in community. If you are new to our church, you'll want to begin by looking for a community near you, as well as our six community practices.

Community Practices

Being the church seven days a week is better than attending any one single event.

Our Communities are geographically organized, multi-generational groups of people being the church of God where they live. They seek to love God and live like Jesus in the context of relationships by focusing on three inward and three outward gospel driven practices:

Similar to the early church, we seek to center these practices on teaching & fellowship.

One way our communities do this is seeking how they might live out and adopt the Sunday teachings into their lives with one another. To help with this, we provide audio recordings and other resources for each message.

Community FAQs

How can I join?

You can reach out to Jordan Young. He’ll be happy to connect you directly with the community leaders. Or click here to check out our communities map!

DO I HAVE TO JOIN THE COMMUNITY CLOSEST TO ME?

No, you do not. However, we would encourage you to start with the community closest to you geographically. Gathering together with people in your area fosters diversity within the group as well as a strong connection to your neighborhood.

I HAVE KIDS, CAN I BRING THEM?

Yes - we love kiddos! We feel that it is important to provide a space where everyone is a part of community, including young disciples of Jesus. Each community looks different though, so some communities have more kiddos and some have less.

CAN I TRY MORE THAN ONE COMMUNITY?

Of course. We strive to create an environment where people are free to experience the different expressions of community. We'd encourage you to keep the search short though, and to invest deeply with one community.

None work with my SCHEDULE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Don’t worry. We are always looking to start new communities, and we can provide the latest updates for possible communities that might not be on the map yet. Contact Jordan Young for more information on this.
